
Understand the essential concepts of environmental hazards, interface between human health and the environment and present the models of environmental and social determinants of health. Upon successful completion of this course, students should be able to: This course will be taught by short presentations, group discussions and case studies. A field trip will bring a chance to apply knowledge to determine the environmental health risks in the community. The discovery of the environmental exposures that influence to human health is also discussed in the topic of environmental epidemiology. Human-health-related aspects of the environment covered in this course including air-soil-water pollution, housing and urbanization, hazardous waste management, climate change and disaster.
